Janeece Keyes is a dedicated advocate for education, a mother of four Columbus City Schools graduates, and a champion for student success. As a single mother, she balanced multiple jobs while ensuring her children thrived academically and professionally.  She will exemplify this perseverance and commitment when serving the students, families, and educators in the district.    

With extensive leadership experience as the Director of Provider Experience for Ohio’s Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, Janeece develops data-driven strategies to improve engagement and outcomes—skills she will apply to addressing attendance, achievement, and student success. She holds a master’s in public administration and leadership and is pursuing a doctorate at the University of Dayton.  On the school board, she will advocate for policies that provide students with the tools and opportunities to thrive.
