Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney was appointed to Cincinnati City Hall in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Jumping into action, from Day 1, Jan-Michele has been a champion for Cincinnati’s art and public housing programs. Her background in law has prepared her to advocate for Cincinnatians no matter how tough the job may be. Additionally, Jan-Michele’s journalism experience has strengthened her intimacy with the community she seeks to continue to serve. Other community initiatives she’s started include free workshops geared towards home and small business owners. Her reelection campaign seeks to rededicate herself to the constituency she has proven she will fight for. If she wins, she plans to continue her work in neighborhood development.
