Candidates
Jan K. Materni
State Representative, District 75
Northwest Ohio, State Legislature
A long time resident of Wood County, Perrysburg, Councilwoman Jan Materini was taught to love her neighbor and serve the public. She has spent her career as a dedicated public servant, working at the Ohio Department of Transportation for over 20 years and then being elected to Perrysburg City Council in 2019, where she is the chair of the service committee and sits on the safety and public utilities committees, advocating for a revolving loan program to help families access safe housing, and policies that would lead to safe water. She has witnessed firsthand how poor decisions made at the state level can negatively impact Ohioans.
When elected as Representative, Councilwoman Materni will fight for legislation and policies that put the people first. At the Statehouse, she will focus on investing in infrastructure, pushing for fair school funding, protecting our environment, defending the right to choose and other civil rights, rebuilding the middle class, and giving local authorities more control over decisions, projects and tax dollars in their communities.
Jan Materni for Ohio HouseI am running for office to continue serving my community. I’ve spent my entire life in the public sector. I know how it works and I know I can make it work better. I want, and will work for, a state government that works for all people, not just some.
