Heather Swiger has extensive experience in both the private and public sector. Her mix of skills will bring a comprehensive and unique perspective to the Statehouse. She has worked as the director of a nonprofit with more than 30 years of leadership experience working with the unhomed and housing insecure, alongside work in the insurance industry. Heather prides herself on teamwork and communication regardless of traditional political divides. She has a deep passion for public service and has been working within the community she serves for 13 years. She is dedicated to moving towards more inclusive and prosperous communities, while focusing on on women’s rights, access to healthcare, teacher’s rights, and social justice initiatives. We know Heather will bring her passion and dedication, coupled with Matriots values, to the Statehouse.
