A Green resident for over a decade, Erin Yoder is running for Green City Council to have the citizens’ best interests in mind. Erin Yoder is living a real-life “Brady Bunch”, blending her family of three girls and three boys, and proving that she can handle chaos whenever it may arise. She has been in customer service/collections for over twenty-three years, and if you’ve ever worked in or dealt with customer service, you know that makes her ready for anything. Frustrated with what she currently sees in the community regarding pricing seniors out of homes, high taxes, and foolish spending, Erin is ready to be the change that the city of Green needs. When elected, she wants to install solar energy on city buildings and schools. Along with this, she wants to sell excess energy back to the grid and get out of debt in order to have money for other programs. Erin plans to create a place for teens and pre-teens to go so that they can stay out of trouble by bringing an E Sports program to Green. She has a goal to bring a Community Center with pools, splash pools, and more splash pads to the city for the families, as well. Erin’s passion for her community and making sure all residents are represented are exactly why Matriots is proud to support her in this election.
