Born and raised in Marietta, Councilmember O’Neill returned after living in Athens, Dayton, and Columbus to raise her family in the community she loves.
Erin was appointed to Marietta City Council in 2024, serving the city’s 4th Ward, and is now running to retain her seat. She is committed to being a strong, progressive voice for women and all underrepresented communities.
Councilmember O’Neill is a single mother who earned her master’s degree while balancing work and family and has spent her career championing nonprofits and education boards. While on the council, Erin has worked to advocate for open and clear communication with residents. Helped to balance the city’s budget and formulate a strategic plan. As well as supported local businesses, education, and quality-of-life initiatives for all citizens.
Erin is a strong voice for all women and underrepresented communities, and the Matriots are proud to endorse her.
