Erika White is a dedicated public servant running for re-election to the Ohio House of Representatives, District 41. In addition to her service as Representative, White also serves as Vice President of the Greater Northwest Ohio AFL-CIO, and elected delegate to the Democratic National Convention. Her work in these positions focuses on promoting workers’ rights and advocating for fair wages and safe working conditions.
Before her time in public office, White demonstrated her leadership abilities in her professional career, serving as both the Vice President and President of her local AT&T chapter. At the same time, Representative White also served the public as a member of the CWA National Executive Board-Diversity Board At-Large Member.
In addition to her initiatives for workers and unions, Erika White is heavily involved in improving mental health and public health resources in Ohio. In the past, she served as the Health Chair for the Toledo NAACP, where she worked to dismantle health disparities in marginalized communities. Currently she serves as both the Chair and Vice Chair of the Healthy Lucas County Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), helping the members of her community reach their full potential through accessible care and resources.
White will continue to lead with transparency and authenticity, focusing on building a balanced economy that supports all Ohioans equally, and helping end health care disparities in her community.
