As a mother, veteran, lawyer, and former legislator in the Ohio House, Commissioner Erica Crawley brings a unique and vast range of experiences to the table. After serving in the Ohio House from 2019-2021, she was appointed as a Franklin County Commissioner. Commissioner Crawley is a first-generation college graduate, obtaining a BA in Criminology with a focus on juvenile delinquency, as well as a Master’s degree in Public Administration. Through her government service and her work advocating on behalf of children and families, she has spent much of her life serving others and giving people a voice. During her time at the Statehouse, she worked to increase access to high-quality affordable education, and championed veteran’s issues, maternal/infant health, and affordable housing.
When re-elected, Commissioner Crawley will continue to expand child care access and early childhood education opportunities within Franklin County. She has always set herself apart by offering unconditional advocacy on behalf of her constituents, ensuring their voices are amplified and empowered.
