As a working mom with the skills to bring community-driven leadership to the forefront of building a brighter Hilliard for all families, Emily Cole is ready to have a seat on the Hilliard City Council.  Cole has strived for affordable healthcare, adequate community resources, and community–driven public safety over the last decade serving as Executive Director of Ohio Families Unite for Political Action and Change. Emily believes Hilliard deserves community-driven development, safety, and sustainability.  

When elected, Emily wants to ensure affordable housing is integrated into a sustainable development plan for the next four years. She wants to make June Hilliard Pride month, increase the city’s sustainability programming within the community to grow Hilliard’s green spaces, and create more opportunities for community members to participate in city planning and development processes actively.   

Emily is running to ensure that working families have a seat at the table as Hilliard grows and believes Hilliard’s best days are still ahead of us.
