Finishing her second term on Grandview Heights City Council, Councilmember Emily Keeler is hoping to continue to serve the city of Grandview for a third term. Currently, as Council President, Councilmember Keeler is the first president to allow online submissions of public comments, which has helped with public interaction and communication between City Council and the community. She feels that it is important that everyone is heard, not just the residents who only make it to council meetings. During her time on City Council, Councilmember Keeler has represented renters and single mothers, and improved sustainability and Grandview’s parks. Councilmember Keeler knows her community and loves making a difference, so she is not done serving Grandview. She wants to continue to sponsor and support sustainability and find solutions to address the housing issues within the community.
