Elizabeth Jones is running for Clermont County Clerk of Courts and brings a rich background of community and political involvement to her candidacy. Elizabeth was the ninth of eleven children in a large, dynamic family. Her early experiences in a rural Ohio community shaped her values of public service, generosity, and community engagement. 

Elizabeth earned her Associate Degree in Business Technology in 1981 and initially worked in accounting and bookkeeping. After starting a family, she transitioned to education, earning a bachelor’s in teaching and spending 17 years as a teacher. In 2017, Elizabeth retired while remaining active in politics and community service. 

Her political activism includes participating in the Women’s March in Washington, canvassing for women’s rights and fair districting, working at election polls, and serving as a precinct captain. Elizabeth is now running for office to advocate for women’s rights, marginalized communities, and future generations, aiming to ensure personal freedoms and justice for all.
