Ebony Spano is a U.S. Navy veteran, autism advocate, and founder of G.R.O.W. (Growing Right Over Wealth), a nonprofit dedicated to helping children thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally. Inspired by her experience advocating for her son, diagnosed with autism at age two, Ebony created G.R.O.W. to address gaps in support systems for families.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, she launched Babies & Brunch, delivering meals to families in need, and later expanded her work through community programs, toy drives, and voter engagement initiatives for mothers. She previously served as an Autism Speaks Volunteer Ambassador and now sits on the Milestones Autism Advisory Board, earning recognition for her advocacy and community impact.

Ebony also founded MOVE, an initiative that educates mothers about voting and civic participation. She serves on the Board of Connecting for Kids and leads local Democratic engagement efforts. As Executive Director of G.R.O.W., she oversees strategy, partnerships, and operations, driven by her commitment to empowering families and strengthening communities.
