Danni Tymitz is a natural fit for the Mason City School Board. As an experienced classroom
teacher, coach and educational consultant, she will bring a much needed educator’s voice to the
board. Certified in both elementary education and special education, Danni’s commitment to
safe, innovative, inclusive schools has shaped her approach to education. For the past twelve
years, Danni has worked with school districts across the country to design and implement
innovative systems that increase efficiency in processes in order to maximize the impact of the
teachers. A dedicated volunteer and community activist, Danni has served as chairperson of
the Heritage Presbyterian Preschool board for the past eight years, guiding the changing board
through periods of low enrollment, changing leadership and the COVID pandemic. She is also
an active member of her church, serving on the leadership board, regular mission project and
community outreach events throughout the year. When elected, we know Danni will be a strong voice for Matriots values.
