Danielle M. Turner Birch is a proud Bedford alum, educator, entrepreneur, and community advocate running for re-election to the Bedford City School District Board of Education. A lifelong resident of the district, she lives in Oakwood Village with her husband, fellow Bearcat alum Jamin Birch, and their three children.
Danielle has over 20 years of experience as a licensed Advanced Cosmetologist and educator, and holds an Associate of Arts, a B.S. in Education from Kent State University, and a Master of Science in Administration with concentrations in organizational leadership and training & development. She currently leads a growing brand as a business and wellness coach, specializing in emotional intelligence, change management, and equitable communication.
As a board member, substitute teacher, PTA volunteer, and mentor, Danielle brings a deep understanding of the district’s needs. Her leadership is rooted in community, cultural responsiveness, and a strong belief that “a community that strives together, thrives together.”
Danielle is committed to advocating for transparent governance, inclusive decision-making, and policies that reflect the values and voices of Bedford families—principles that closely align with The Matriots’ mission and promote Matriots’ values.
