Hilliard City Councilmember Cynthia Vermillion is running for re-election. She is a dedicated community leader who believes it is crucial that local government agencies take steps to involve community residents and seek their input. As a first-generation American, her parents instilled the importance of hard work from a young age. Since beginning her first term on council in 2020, she has worked with her children’s school community to feed people experiencing homelessness in Columbus every week.

Councilmember Vermillion has never wavered in her commitment to the city of Hilliard. As the current Vice Chair of Progress and Vice President of the Hilliard Arts Council Board, she understands what it takes to help her community prosper and, when re-elected, she will continue her work to ensure that Hilliard remains a place residents can be proud to live.
