Coutanya Coombs believes when women are empowered, policies that ensure food, shelter, and clothing will be enacted – empowerment is the foundation of a healthy and prosperous community. As an elected official, Coutanya will use her seat to establish a program that exposes middle school and high school girls to local government. Coutanya hopes to work with Westerville’s diversity and inclusion personnel to develop methods for the inclusion of women in city awarded contracts. With 15 years of experience in Westerville, Coutanya knows what it takes to create an environment for Westerville to grow.
