Courtney Zimmerman is a First-Time candidate for the Cuyahoga Falls City School District Board of Education. She is the founder and owner of Aurora Research Associates, a historic preservation consulting firm. She brings over two decades of experience in environmental consulting, government regulation, project management, and development. Additionally, Zimmerman has a professional engineering license and has worked on compliance laws related to clean water, transportation, cultural resources, and environmental justice.  

Zimmerman has been a volunteer for Cuyahoga Falls City Schools since 2019 and has recently emerged as a local leader in response to the suggested closure of a local elementary school due to financial reasons. She is deeply committed to public education, transparency, and inclusive school policy. Outside of her professional life, Zimmerman lives in Silver Lake in Summit County with her husband and two children.
