Claire Hollywood may be newer to the community, but she is familiar with the world of education. As a researcher for the National Center on Education and the Economy, Claire has committed herself to education research and understanding best practices worldwide to bring a global perspective to the board. When Claire is elected, she will be an asset to the Rocky River Board of Education. She wants to ensure that Rocky River schools continue to provide the excellent educational experiences they are known for while positioning the district to succeed in a rapidly changing world.   

Claire believes students should have more of a voice and choice in their learning progressions, and when elected, she will take steps to ensure that happens. She also wants to shift the district vision and policies to be future-focused, allowing the schools to keep up with changes in the workforce.
