Cindy Marx serves on the Lakewood City Council Ward 4 and seeks re-election. An activist in Lakewood since the mid-1980s and serving on many boards and commissions, reelecting Councilmember Marx will allow her to continue her service to the community. Councilmember Marx’s previous accomplishments include 2016 introducing and passing a non-discrimination ordinance. The ordinance ensured everyone had equal access to employment, housing, public accommodations, and education. In 2022, she co-sponsored a resolution to protect women’s rights regarding abortion. Her extensive knowledge and passion for the community allow her to access resources to continue providing the best service for Lakewood.
