Cheryl Saffold, a native of Warren, is running for re-election as Warren City Councilwoman. First elected in 2009 and serving ever since, Saffold is an advocate for her community, and has fought for improved safety in her community, and has championed reform to address systematic racism. Saffold attended Howard University and has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Law Degree from Texas Southern University. Saffold is active in her community as a member of the League of Women Voters, NAACP, and Community of Concerned Citizens.
