Chelsea Clark
Secretary of State
Statewide, Statewide
Raised in Allen County, Councilwoman Chelsea Clark is a small business owner, a sixth-generation farmer, and a single mom who has always been committed to uplifting and empowering her community. While studying business at Miami University, Councilwoman Clark established the campus chapter of the ACLU, and got to work organizing for better wages for university employees. After graduating, she moved to Cincinnati to begin her career as a financial analyst before becoming a teacher and founding a non-profit geared toward providing education services to Cincinnati area families. In 2011, she was elected to Forest Park City Council where she has led the minority business outreach program and started the STEM Lab, a full-service organization helping to provide educational opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math to underserved students. Once elected as Secretary of State, she will fight to protect voting rights, pushing to make voting more accessible for all Ohioans, as well as strengthening our state’s cyber security, updating our voter registration database, and removing dark money loopholes in order to protect election integrity.
Councilwoman Clark knows it is essential that we elect strong leaders willing to take on complex issues, put people ahead of politics, and create an equitable playing field for all Ohioans. She stands strong in Matriots values and is the best choice for Ohio’s Secretary of State.
Chelsea Clark for Secretary of StateAs a descendant of strong women, I have always been a vocal advocate for progression in women’s rights- in my community and beyond…I believe that education is an equalizer but policy layered on top makes it equitable.
