Charlene Bridges is running for Bexley City Council because she believes strong communities are built when neighbors work together and local government leads with transparency, equity, and care for future generations. With more than 25 years of experience in financial management, technology adoption, and organizational change, Charlene has guided multimillion-dollar programs, built cross-sector partnerships, and led complex transformations across both public and private sectors.
At the heart of her work is a deep commitment to service. She prioritizes lifting others, solving problems collaboratively, and ensuring that every voice is heard and valued. Beyond her professional career, Charlene serves on the Board of Greenleaf Job Training Services, is an active member of The Matriots, and founded the Sisterhood Supper Club to connect and empower diverse women.
Charlene embodies seasoned leadership and an inclusive vision for the future. The Matriots are proud to support her campaign to bring integrity, equity, and community-focused leadership to Bexley City Hall.
