Cassaundra Fryan is running for Huron County Commissioner to bring practical, results-driven leadership to county government. A lifelong Huron County resident, Cassaundra currently serves as Mayor of Plymouth, where she has built a record of balancing budgets, improving infrastructure, and strengthening community connections since first taking office in 2020.
During her time as mayor, Cassaundra has secured millions in state funding for major projects, including long-overdue bridge and street improvements, while working collaboratively with local and regional leaders to deliver results for residents. Prior to public service, she spent more than a decade working in banking, lending, insurance, and business management, developing expertise in fiscal responsibility, budgeting, and customer service.
Cassaundra is a graduate of the Ohio Public Leadership Academy at The Ohio State University’s John Glenn College of Public Affairs and has served on several community boards and organizations. She and her husband, Carl, are raising their two sons in Huron County, where she remains committed to supporting local communities, small businesses, and families. The Matriots are excited to follow and support Cassaundra as she takes this next step.
