Born and raised in Central Ohio, Carrin is running for Gahanna City Council to give back to and voice the needs of her community. Carrin’s career has created a natural pathway towards city council, as she has previosuly chaired the 2019 Issue 12 income tax reform ballot, worked in marketing and communications for the Gahanna city government, and worked with The Arlington Group as a finnacial advisor. Additionally, she currently serves as Treasurer of the Gahanna Area Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Civil Service Commission, a member of the Gahanna YMCA Consulting Board, a board member of The Gahanna Sanctuary, and an Executive Committee member for the Columbus Golf Classic with the American Cancer Society. Therefore, Carrin’s multifaceted career allows for her to approach her City Council campagin with experience and perspective.

Upon election, Carrin intends to carefully guide Gahanna through a rebuilding phase, shift the Council’s focus towards essential city operations, and empower women throughout Gahanna as the self-described “biggest cheerleader FOR OTHER women.” In all, rather than letting party politics influence her decisions, as she is running unaffiliated, Carrin’s values of collaboration, dedication, and advocacy act as a guiding light in her work to better support her Gahanna community.
