Toledo City Council
Northwest Ohio, Local
New to Toledo City Council in January of 2023, Carrie Hartman is motivated to retain her seat in the upcoming election. Although she is new to council, she is no stranger to politics. In fact, she has worked on dozens of candidates’ campaigns and believes “all politics are local”. In the past 8 years, Councilmember Hartman has supported the Finance Department and Public Utilities Department for two distinct mayoral administrations. Councilmember Hartman is a true advocate for neighborhood prosperity, economic empowerment, and individual independence. If elected, she will center her attention on beautifying the city and updating the zoning code. Currently, she is working on legislation that will help contract minority and women owned businesses. As a public school graduate, Councilmember Hartman sees the value in a public school education and is on the board of Tutorsmart Toledo, offering free services to students K-8. A city council with Carrie Hartman is a council mindful of diversity and expanding opportunities in Toledo.Carrie Hartman for Toledo City Council
