Councilmember Hartman is a true advocate for neighborhood prosperity, economic empowerment, and individual independence. If elected, she will center her attention on beautifying the city and updating the zoning code. Currently, she is working on legislation that will help contract minority and women owned businesses. As a public school graduate, Councilmember Hartman sees the value in a public school education and is on the board of Tutorsmart Toledo, offering free services to students K-8. A city council with Carrie Hartman is a council mindful of diversity and expanding opportunities in Toledo.
