Candidates
Bride Rose Sweeney
State Representative, District 16
Northeast Ohio, State Legislature
Representative Bride Rose Sweeney is no stranger to breaking barriers and working towards change. When first elected to the Ohio Statehouse in 2018, Representative Sweeney became the first woman to serve her district and the youngest state lawmaker in the House Democratic Caucus. For the past 4 years, she has worked tirelessly to fight for Ohioans and provide a fresh voice in our State government. Currently serving House District 14, Representative Sweeney is now running for the newly re-drawn House District 16. If reelected, she will work to ensure safe, equitable, and prosperous communities across Ohio. She plans to continue her focus on issues such as reducing gun violence, protecting the rights of women, championing affordable living for families and seniors, and ensuring fair school funding.
Representing my community has been the honor of my life, and I will work relentlessly to make Ohio a better place to live, work, and retire with dignity.
