Candidates
Brenna Reynolds
Rossford City Council
Northwest Ohio, Local
As an incumbent candidate for Rossford City Council, Council member Reynolds is continuously committed to advocating for and empowering residents of Rossford. However, Councilmember Reynolds’ passion for bettering her community originated long before her career in politics, as she has previously worked in public administration and community outreach in the Wood County area. As an avid participant in the Reproductive Rights Movement, Councilmember Reynolds has attended several protests and provided patients with safe, accessible healthcare by serving as a clinic escort. Building safer, more connected communities is certainly an overarching theme of Councilmember Reynolds’ career, as her background also includes work in suicide prevention, grassroots organizing, and political recruitment.
Since being elected in 2021, Councilmember Reynolds has prioritized listening to voters and assuring that their needs are met. Such focus is evident in her initiatives on City Council, including partnering with local unions to fight for fair labor practices, supporting legislation in favor of gender equality in the workplace, and working to expand the reach of mental health services. Councilmember Reynolds also holds quarterly community meetings that provide a space for all Rossford residents, but particularly women, to engage with local government in a meaningful way.
Upon re-election, Council member Reynolds is determined to enact tangible change by sharing her platform with voters and advocating for a more engaged, equal, and empowered Rossford. The Matriots gladly stand with Brenna as she steps up to serve.
