Serving as Mayor of Mayfield Village since 2016, Brenda Bodnar is seeking re-election. Over the last eight years as Mayor, Mayor Bodnar’s key accomplishments include but are not limited to Grove Amphitheater bandshell; the Community Center, Parkview Inclusive Playground, expanded services and programming, drainage and infrastructure projects, economic development and business assistance during the pandemic, with Civic Center improvements currently in progress.   

When re-elected, Mayor Bodnar wants to rebuild a strong business tax base through business development, provide a full range of services to residents, such as first responders and service departments, and work with other local mayors and managers to develop and implement regional programs and services. Mayor Bodnar also plans to fight for home rule rights and independently manage the Mayfield Village community. She also plans to fight to get back the tax money that residents send from Columbus.
