Dr. Beth Liston is serving her third term in the Ohio House, representing Worthington and Northern Columbus. With a medical career that includes an M.D. and Ph.D. from Ohio State University and training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Yale New Haven Hospital, Dr. Liston has been a clinical hospitalist and Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Ohio State since 2006. Her expertise in both adult and pediatric care enriches her advocacy work.
Elected in 2018, Dr. Liston has focused on integrating health and wellness perspectives into policy. She is the Ranking Member on the Public Health Policy Committee and the Health and Human Services Finance Subcommittee and serves on several other key committees including Joint Medicaid Oversight and Families Aging and Human Services. Active in the community, she is a past president of the Columbus Medical Association and a member of the Dublin Worthington Rotary.
