Representative Beryl Brown Piccolantonio is running for re-election for Ohio House District 4. Piccolantonio started her journey in public service as a member of the Gahanna-Jefferson School Board, serving for three terms, and was elected president of the Board for eight years. Due to this position, Brown Piccolantonio is a passionate advocate for education in Ohio and is committed to ensuring quality public education for all students. Before her roles as Representative and School Board member, Piccolantonio served as a lawyer for 20 years, gaining experience leading in state government. In this role she presided over administrative hearings, worked as the Director of Labor relations, and served as chief ombudsperson for Ohio’s workers’ compensation system.

In her current role as Representative, Piccolantonio serves as Minority Whip and serves on the following committees: Education, Finance, Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review, Judiciary, Rules and Reference, and as a ranking minority member of the Workforce and Higher Education committee. As Representative, she is committed to following the will of the people and has prioritized workers’ rights and strived to create an equal workplace for those she serves.
