Angelina Hamilton Steiner was raised in Lakewood from early childhood through high school. Angelina is a product of Lakewood City Schools (K-8) and Lutheran High School West. She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, earning a BS in Political Science and a Master’s of Public Administration. Angelina is currently employed at Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio, and serves as the Director and eRA Manager.

Angelina is a proven public servant and leader, having worked in higher education for the majority of her professional career. She has served on the board of Madison Court Community Coalition, was co-Chair of the Anti-Racism Task Force, served on the Charter Review Commission, was a member of the Steering Committee for the Community Health Needs Assessment, and has served as a member of the Elementary Planning Task Force.

Angelina is a mom and a proud dance and cheer mom of girls who attend Lakewood Public Schools. In her free time, she can be found supporting her children in a myriad of activities. Angelina is running for re-election to the Lakewood City Council. The Matriots are excited to uplift Angelina, and she uplifts Matriots’ values and serves as a strong voice for her community.
