Ana Chapman

Ana Chapman has served on the Berea Board of Education for three consecutive terms and strongly believes in the value of strong, equitable public schools. With a long career in education, Ana has earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Miami, a Master of Education from Cleveland State University, and is in her 33rd year of teaching elementary music in Beachwood City Schools.
As a Proud mother of three, a lifelong educator, and a volunteer in the community, Chapman has seen the transformative power of public education firsthand. She is a staunch advocate for ensuring that every student, regardless of background, has access to high-quality learning opportunities and is committed to continuing the work of supporting students, teachers, and families in the district.
Ana served as the President of the board for 8 years, served as the President of the Ohio PTA, and continues to train extensively through the Ohio School Boards Association, where she has been honored to earn multiple awards for her work. Including an honor by the White House as a “Champion of Change” for her PTA work in 2012.
Ana looks to continue the fight to protect and strengthen public education and amplify Matriots’ values, prioritizing student access to a variety of opportunities.
