Amber Zibritosky
Stow Municipal Court Clerk
Northeast Ohio, Local
Amber Zibritosky is a dedicated public servant who has spent her entire law career in service to others. First as law director, and now as Stow Municipal Court Clerk, Amber works to safeguard the pursuit and administration of justice so that it works for everyone in her community. She is deeply committed to ensuring individuals are treated fairly regardless of their race, gender, religion, or socio-economic status. Since taking over as Municipal Court Clerk in 2019, Amber has pushed the court to operate more efficiently below its budget, improved technology by offering free text message notification services, and created key self-help guides for individuals who aren’t represented by counsel. She’s a former elected prosecutor from the area, who knows both the issues that come before the court and how to implement solutions.
Amber is also no stranger to fighting for a woman’s right to be heard. In 2018, as the city’s law director and the only woman elected to office in all of Stow, she started to mobilize a group of local women to become active in local politics and causes. She empowers others to action, while diligently and ethically serving the people of Stow. She says: “I want to show my children that making the world a better place means dedicating yourself, your skills and your talents toward a goal that is bigger than yourself.”
