Ajmeri’s decision to run for Dublin City Council is directly attributed to seeing her Ward 1 neighbors struggle to be heard. To address the disparity between the more established residents’ concerns being addressed and newer community mmbers, she decided to address the neglect herself. Having experience organizing several voter drives within the municipality and working on various presidential campaigns provided Ajmeri with valuable insight that helped her run her own campaign. If she is successful, she hopes to implement new initiatives on council aimed at helping these voices frequently left out of the conversation in her district.
