As a single woman, Coressel understands the importance of economic independence and women’s ability to financially provide for themselves. To achieve this goal, Coressel highlights the need to also fight for workplace safety and freedom from discrimination and sexual harassment. After seeing women’s reproductive rights challenged, she dedicated countless hours to collecting signatures for Issue 1 and campaigned for a woman’s reproductive rights to be enshrined in Ohio’s constitution. Additionally, Coressel believes that access to healthcare is crucial to supporting women’s right to bodily autonomy; she advocates for all Ohioans to have access to quality, affordable, care.
The Matriots are excited to endorse Sheila Coressel in her race for the Ohio House of Representatives.
