Heather Sample is a lifelong Ohioan, legal professional, and community leader running for Ohio House District 67, representing Ashland and Medina counties. After returning to Ohio in 2016, she built a career working in civil, family, and criminal law offices, where she has spent nearly a decade helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most difficult moments.

Heather has long been active in her community, serving as Chair of the Ashland County Democratic Party and previously as Vice President of the Ashland County Democratic Women’s Club. She has also worked on local and congressional campaigns and ran for Ashland City Council. As a wife, mother, caregiver, and advocate, Heather is committed to bringing compassion, practical experience, and a deep understanding of the challenges facing working families to the Ohio House.
