Krista L. Allison is running for the Ohio House of Representatives, District 49, driven by her belief that leadership requires showing up, taking responsibility, and working hard for the people you serve. A proud Stark County native, she is a graduate of Perry High School, Baldwin Wallace University, and Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She and her husband of 27 years, Adrian, have built their lives around faith, family, and community.
Krista spent a decade in Columbus serving Ohio families, including as Executive Director at the Ohio Department of Education, where she worked with lawmakers and the Governor to support public education and strengthen policies for children and families. She later returned to Stark
County to lead the CARE Team for at-risk youth and to direct student, family, and community support for Canton City Schools.
Her leadership focuses on people-first solutions and community impact. Krista is active in local service organizations, supports youth and families, and serves on several community boards. A resident of Jackson Township, she is the proud mother of two daughters and a strong advocate for students. She is committed to serving with courage, compassion, and accountability—always fighting for her community. The Matriots are proud to uplift Krista and her leadership.
