Raised with the belief that communities should care for one another, Nicole Sigurdson is a lifelong Ohioan committed to the shared values that define the state. Growing up in the suburbs of Cleveland, she saw firsthand the importance of safe neighborhoods, strong schools, and opportunities for families to thrive. Today, those values guide her campaign to represent Ohio House District 19.

Spanning communities from Old Brooklyn to Brecksville, Solon to Highland Heights, the district is rich with strong schools, small businesses, and vibrant public spaces. But rising costs, housing challenges, and decisions at the Statehouse are making it harder for families to get ahead.

For the past five years, Nicole has worked as an organizer with SEIU 1199, advocating for healthcare and social service workers. She has fought for better wages and working conditions and is committed to bringing that same advocacy and focus to Columbus. The Matriots are proud to recognize and support Nicole.
