Katherine Chipps

Katherine Chipps is a dedicated public servant with a background in both government and small business. A cum laude graduate of Ohio Dominican University with a degree in Business Management, she began her career in television production before transitioning to public service.
She served in the Ohio Senate and later as Regional Services Director at the Ohio Secretary of State’s office, where she helped implement election reforms and the state’s first post-election audit. As Policy & Communications Director at Clean Fuels Ohio, she worked on legislation supporting electric vehicles and alternative fuel infrastructure.
In 2012, Katherine co-founded Grassroots Strategies, a media and printing business. She now works as a real estate appraiser for the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Probate Court.
Since being elected Madison Township Trustee, she’s focused on public safety and first responder support—leading upgrades to police body cameras and radios, purchasing a new fire engine, installing Flock cameras, and securing mental health services for police and fire staff.
Katherine has lived in Madison Township since 2012 and resides in Canal Winchester with her partner Jason and their three rescue dogs: JoJo, Ted, and Sawyer.
