Elyse Jenkins is running for the Lakota School District Board of Education with the goal of opening doors to educational opportunities that lead to stronger futures for all students. The success of her own children and nieces has shown her the power of investing in children and families. 

Elyse has been a consistent and active presence in the Lakota School District. She has served as a dedicated educator, Director of Marketing and Communications, and currently serves as the Director of Curriculum and Coaching. Throughout her career, she has championed equity, excellence, and access in education. 

Her commitment to community-building is just as strong. Elyse regularly hosts campaign volunteers in her home, canvasses neighborhoods to engage with voters, and participates in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the region. Her passion for education and community is driven by a deep desire to create lasting, meaningful change.
