Megan Dimmerling is running for re-election to the Gahanna-Jefferson Board of Education. An active community member, Dimmerling has served on the Policy Committee, acted as the OSBA Legislative Liaison, Local Government Liaison for Mifflin and Jefferson Townships, and the OSBA Student Achievement Liaison. She also brings 21 years of experience as a public educator. 

Throughout her term, Dimmerling has witnessed the incredible potential students can achieve when provided with the right resources and support. She is committed to being a board member who values diverse learning environments and ensures students are educated at a pace and level that suits their individual needs. 

She has helped implement several impactful initiatives, including later school start times to align with students’ natural sleep cycles and a new preschool curriculum designed to strengthen early literacy and math skills. Under her leadership, Gahanna-Jefferson was awarded a 4-star rating from the state, Ohio’s highest district honor. 

Dimmerling is dedicated to continuing her work with honesty and collaboration, partnering with district leadership and staff to provide every student with a quality education that prepares them for the future.
