With over thirty years of legal experience and twelve years on city council, Councilmember Hemann is more than qualified for the position of Rocky River Clerk of Courts. For Councilmember Hemann, she not only finds joy, but also purpose in serving her community. Additionally, she has made a conscious effort to empower women in all aspects of life: from teaching her own daughter the importance of economic independence as a woman, to mentoring women when jumpstarting their respective careers. 

Serving on Rocky River City Council since 2013, Councilmember Hemann has spent her time advocating for legislation regarding empowerment, safety, and infrastructure. For example, she has played a key role in celebrating the 100^th anniversary of the League of Women Voters, acquiring bulletproof vests for K9 officers, and renovating local parks. No matter the issue, Councilmember Hemann is always willing to dedicate herself to any cause that will better her community. As Clerk of Courts, Councilmember Hemann intends to handle Rocky River residents’ tax dollars with the utmost care, efficiency, and transparency.
