Crystal Davis Weese, a former educator and small business owner, is now taking a leap to run for Mansfield City Council. Davis Weese has devoted much of her career to empowering young women in her area by conducting empowerment summits and helping students navigate the scholarship and college application processes. Upon election, Davis Weese intends to address issues such as affordable housing, school safety, and recruiting police officers whose backgrounds reflect the communities they serve. As a dedicated member of the Mansfield community, Davis Weese’s involvement in advocating for youth education and neighborhood safety exemplifies those qualities valued by The Matriots.
