Before being appointed Auditor, Jessica served as the Ohio House Representative for the 28th District and served in Minority leadership as the Ohio House Democratic Whip. During her Ohio House terms, Auditor Miranda introduced and helped pass legislation on various issues, including gun storage, school counselors, veteran suicide awareness, honoring fallen officers, and providing religious accommodations in higher education. She believes in the government’s role in fostering job creation through an educated workforce, improved infrastructure, and increased technology access.  She is an award-winning insurance broker, former president of the Winton Woods City School Board, and has been recognized for her advocacy and leadership in education and anti-sexual violence efforts. The Matriots look forward to seeing the continued impact Jessica Miranda once elected as Hamilton County Auditor.
