Class of 2020 Endorsed Candidate: Alicia Reece

Alicia Reece’s extensive background in public service makes her a valuable candidate in Hamilton County. She was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 33rd District, Vice Mayor of Cincinnati, and in 2011, she was named vice-chair of the Ohio Women’s Democratic Caucus. In 1999 when she ran for City Council, she became the youngest woman to be elected to that position. When asked about her efforts for women, Alicia said, “ I wrote the Working Nursing Mothers Act that was passed by Cincinnati City Council, and fought for equal pay for women while in the state legislature.” If elected, Alicia plans to use her 21 years of expertise to ensure all Ohioans have equal opportunities.

In 2021, Alicia Reece will serve as a Hamilton County Commissioner.
